The Site

This website is just getting underway. It’ll be a place for experimentation in architecture, design, writing and other creative endeavours, perhaps the occasional video. The site is not yet completely defined, but will be flexible, fluid and a dynamic (uni-directional) forum. Content will be distinctly non-academic.

Venturing Thoughts

The Articles section is an ongoing series of essays, not all of which are or will be about architecture…which is a good thing as my attitude to architecture can be characterized in few words—as the breadth and complexity of the discipline distills down to a few certain valued principles; the main one of which is simple and naive: it should be good. Beauty, integrity and elegance are unpopular notions that attract little discussion. I will find a way to expand and elaborate on the profession, but will more likely cover favourite recurring topics such as prevailing social norms, cultural trends, the subconscious and Woody Allen movies.

I’m also hard at work developing a single unifying principle of everything. Progress reports forthcoming.
